National Flower of Trinidad and Tobago






Trinidad and Tobago is an island country in the Caribbean. The National flower of Trinidad and Tobago is The Chaconia popularly known as "Wild Poinsettia". It is a flaming red forest flower also called Pride Of Trinidad and Tobago.



Trinidad and Tobago declared The Chaconia as its national flower on it's Independence day 31st  August 1962. It can be easily identified by its red flaming color long sprays of magnificent vermilion. It starts blossom end of August around the independence day of Trinidad and Tobago.
