LIST OF NATIONAL HIGHWAYS INDIA




The list of National Highways Network of the Union Republic of India developed and maintained by the National Highway Authority Of India(NHAI). These Highways are the backbone of the Indian economy and Transportation.


A new project was announced by the NDA government led by Mr. ATAL BIHARI BAJPAI to convert all National highways into " Swarna Chatuspatha" or Golden Quadrilateral, North-South Corridor and East-West Corridor. (Source, The Hindu, Dt. June 7, 2008: K. H. Muniyappa, Union Minister of State for Surface Transport). A total of 65,000Km will be converted under this Project.
