INDIA NATIONAL SYMBOLS -14(NATIONAL PLEDGE)




In The Union of India, The National Pledge is an oath of allegiance. It is commonly recited by Indians in
unison at public events, during school prayers,  and on the Independence Day and Republic Day Observance Ceremonies.

The National Pledge was composed in 1962 by "Pydimarri Venkata Subba Rao" in the Telugu language. And it first recited at school in "Visakhapatnam" in the year 1963. In 1963 The National pledge is translated into other Indian languages including English. And in the year 1965 on 26th January, it is introduced officially to all Indians on The Republic day.

भारत मेरा देश है | हम सब भारतवासी भाई बहन हैं |
मुझे अपना देश प्राणों से भी प्यारा है |
इसकी समृद्धि और विविध संस्कृति पर मुझे गर्व है |
हम इसके सुयोग्य अधिकारी बनने का सदा प्रयत्न करते रहेंगे |

मैं अपने माता-पिता, शिक्षकों एवं गुरुजनों का सदा आदर करुँगा और सबके साथ शिष्टता का व्यवहार करुँगा |
मैं अपने देश और देशवासियों के प्रति वफादार रहने की प्रतिज्ञा करता हूँ |
उनके कल्याण और समृद्धि में ही मेरा सुख निहित है |

ભારત મારો દેશ છે.
બધા ભારતીયો મારા ભાઈ બહેન છે.
હું મારા દેશને ચાહું છું અને તેન સમૄધ્ધ અને વૈવિધ્યપુર્ણ વારસાનો મને ગર્વ છે.

હું સદાય તેને લાયક બનવા પ્રયત્ન કરીશ
હું મારા માતા-પિતા; શિક્ષકો અને વડીલો પ્રત્યે આદર રાખીશ અને દરેક જણ સાથે સભ્યતાથી વર્તીશ.
હું મારા દેશ અને દેશ બાંધવોને મારી નિષ્ઠા અર્પૂં છુ.
તેમના કલ્યાણ અને સમૄધ્ધીમાં જ મારું સુખ રહયું છે.

भारतो मम देशो अयं भारतीयाश्च बान्धवाः ।
परानुरक्तिरस्मिन् मे देशे अस्ति मम सर्वदा ॥१॥
समृद्धाः विविधाश्चास्य या देशस्य परम्पराः ।
सन्ति ताः प्रति मे नित्यम् अभिमानोन्नतम् शिरः ॥२॥
प्रयतिष्ये सदा चाहम् आसादयितुम् अर्हताम् ।
येन तासाम् भविष्यामि श्रद्धायुक्तः पदानुगः ॥३॥
संमानयेयं पितर वयोज्येष्ठान् गुरुंस्तथा ।
सौजन्येनैव वर्तेय तथा सर्वैरहं सदा ॥४॥
स्वकियेन हि देशेन स्वदेशीयैश्च बान्धवैः ।
एकान्तनिष्ठं आचारं प्रतिजाने हि सर्वदा ॥५॥
एतेषामेव कल्याणे समुत्कर्षे तथैव च |
नूनं विनिहितं सर्वं सौख्यं आत्यन्तिकं मम ||६||

Tamil

இந்தியா என் தாய்நாடு,
இந்தியர்கள் அனைவரும் எனது சகோதர சகோதரிகள்.
என் நாட்டை நான் மிகவும் நேசிக்கிறேன்,
என் நாட்டின் பழம்பெருமைக்காகவும், பண்முக மரபு சிறப்பிற்காகவும் நான்
பெருமிதம் கொள்கிறேன்.
என் நாட்டின் பெருமைக்கு தகுந்து விளங்கிட பெரிதும் பாடுபடுவேன்.
எனது பெற்றோர், ஆசிரியர் மற்றும் பெரியோர்களை மதித்து
நடந்துகொள்வேன்.
அனைவரிடமும் அன்பும் மரியாதையும் காட்டுவேன்.

माझ्या देशावर माझे प्रेम आहे.
माझ्या देशातल्या समृद्ध आणि विविधतेने नटलेल्या परंपरांचा मला अभिमान आहे.
त्या परंपरांचा पाईक होण्याची पात्रता माझ्या अंगी यावी म्हणून मी सदैव प्रयत्न करेन.
मी माझ्या पालकांचा, गुरुजनांचा आणि वडीलधा-या माणसांचा मान ठेवेन आणि प्रत्येकाशी सौजन्याने
वागेन.
माझा देश आणि माझे देशबांधव यांच्याशी निष्ठा राखण्याची मी प्रतिज्ञा करीत आहे.
