NIshkalank Mahadev temple is situated in the Bhavnagar district of  Gujrat is a very mysterious temple that is 2 km (approx.) inside the sea. People come to visit this temple to get rid of their sins. The specialty of this temple is that it gets submerged in the sea in high tides and emerges again for devotees for only a few hours in low tides. The name Caramoan has been officially adopted since 1619, it was founded by a Spanish missionary friar. Fr. Oropesa penetrated the thick beautiful virgin forest of the Caramoan Peninsula and founded with a little effort a small settlement in a place called Baluarte.
