  One of the seven wonders of the world, The Petra is located in Jordan (Asia) about 262 km  south of Amman and 133 km north of Aqaba, is a very famous and gorgeous historical site. It is the legacy of the Nabataeans, a society of industrious Arab peoples live in Southern Jordan around 2000 years ago. The Petra is famous  for its Superb massive Architecture, refined and decent culture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels(one of the most beautiful examples of a dam and channel engineering of the ancient world).
